This site is dedicated to the memory of Derek Barnes.
Although some time has passed since losing my dear Dad, Derek Barnes, I think about him and miss him every day. He was my best friend and confidante and I love him dearly. I wanted to do something to keep his memory alive. So I decided to start this page, a place for memories and thoughts of Dad.

Ahhh lovely Barnesy Senior. My abiding memory of you is coming down to the bar during rehearsals to find you and Lionel comparing bypass scars. Thanks for that.... A big hug to you you lovely man. xxxx Smamf xxxx

I look at this site often but only now can i write on it. I remember telling you that even if i lost you now i was grateful for getting you back. i didnt mean you could go and leave me though. I loved making you happy in that 6 months, we packed so much in. thank you for the gift you sent me on april 14th, i know you will be watching over us. you will always remain in my heart barnesy [and on my butt LOL] mrs B the last xxxxx
